Day to day life as Studio Manager / Designer
You’ll be working alongside our friendly Studio team – currently 11 people and growing: a mix of art directors, graphic and digital designers and 3D environmental designers.

It varies from week to week but you can anticipate 50% of your time will be spent managing Studio workflow and 50% of your time will be general design for digital and print.

For the design part, you could be designing a branding project, motion graphics for a social campaign or art-working print for an event. If you like a variety of clients and a busy day that flies by, you’ll enjoy this role.

For the ‘studio manager’ part, you’ll be assessing client briefs and assigning designers to a project as part of our Studio Traffic system.

You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and Senior Design Director to support the creative team through resource planning and assisting with project management on large project.

Together with the senior team, you’ll help make improvements to inter-departmental collaboration, studio processes and the agency briefing process.

The ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate has at least 5-6 years experience working in an agency. You know the things that can stress a designer/client out and are passionate about creating systems that help over-come them (from brilliant filing systems to project management tools).

You’re a diplomat and born communicator who enjoys fostering a harmonious
relationship between departments.

You’ve often been described as highly organised and meticulous.

A third level degree in visual communication or similar.

Fluency with the usual tools: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After-Effects etc.

Studio management experience would be a bonus but is not essential.
