The Task

Alpro’s aspiration is to triple their market share in the plant based Barista range (for home use) by 2026. To achieve this, Verve were challenged to get people to choose Alpro Barista as their first choice in plant based by communicating on taste in a meaningful way.

The Solution

Verve transformed an empty retail unit in the heart of Dublin City Centre into the Alpro Barista Cafe. Based on research carried out by Alpro in advance of the activation, our teams programmed the 5 x day activation with events and workshops centred around reasons people meet for coffee (after a run, on a date).  A variety of complimentary coffees from our Barista counter were served as well as having self-serve stations where people could “Be Your Own Barista”.

The experience was a huge success – a media and influencer event fronted by Simon Zebo kicked it off. Every event and workshop that was hosted from matchmaking to coffee art was booked out.
